Daily Tao Sounds
Daily Tao Sounds
Daily Tao Sounds for health and healing have been used in China over 1500 years. They have been taught by Kung Fu and Chi Kung masters, and the magical cry ‘Yi’ of an early shaman healer still means doctor in Chinese language.
We all know that singing, humming or making pleasant sounds to a baby soothes and comforts the child as well as the one who makes the sounds. Agreeable, positive sounds release emotional pressure and are Natural Stress Relief for any age. For healing anxiety disorder and as a depression self help, Daily Tao Sounds recycle and transform negative energy into positive Chi, therefore into positive feelings.
Personal Experiences using Daily Tao Sounds
Sounding is an enjoyable practice for me and have been instrumental in strengthening my lungs (which were weak due to childhood illnesses) and overcoming persistent feelings of sadness and hastiness. Also, if I practice daily, the Tao sounds energize me for the day and help me sleep better at night.
I discovered in my Healing Tao workshops that many young people who admit having anger, hold fear or sadness on a deeper level. For them, recognizing these feelings as ‘stuck’, negative energy which transforms into positive Chi through daily Tao sounds practice, is more acceptable than seeing them as psychological problems.
Six Healing Sounds
The Six Healing Sounds you learn on this page are done following the nurturing cycle of Five Phases. Each organ system corresponds to an element, a season, color, taste and a transforming emotion. To learn more about Five Phases, please click on the graphic.
-
Lung/Large Intestine – Metal – Autumn – White – Pungent – Sadness to Joy, Courage – Sound is SSSSSSS. (tongue behind teeth).
-
Kidney/Urinary Bladder – Water – Winter – Dark Blue – Salty – Fear to Peace, Gentleness – Sound is WOOOOOO. . . (lips as when blowing out a candle).
-
Liver/Gall Bladder – Wood – Green – Sour – Anger to Tolerance, Kindness. The Sound is SHHHHHH. (tongue near palate).
-
Heart/Small Intestine – Fire – Red – Bitter – Hate, Impatience to Love, Compassion. The Sound is HAAAAAA. . . (mouth wide open).
-
Spleen/Pancreas/Stomach – Earth – Harvest time – Yellow – Sweet or Bland – Worry to Fairness, Singing. the Sound is WHOOOOO. . . (from throat, guttural).
Pericardium/Triple Warmer – Fire – All Seasons. The Sound is HEEEEEE. P/TW correspond to the fire element, but the sound is usually done as the sixth since TW’s function is to balance, especially the temperature of the upper, middle and the lower burner of the body.
Preparation for the Practice
- If you feel stiff or tense shake your body gently as you walk around.
Sit with a straight back in a quiet place. If you can not sit for some reason, find a comfortable position where you have both arms free to move. If you can not move, do the sounds only.
Making Six Healing Sounds with their movements opens the breath and gives you a sense of joyous freedom. To make them into Daily Tao Sounds, try doing them at the same time, at the same place – perhaps in the morning to catch the right tone and inner stillness for the day. Do each sound 6, 9 or 18 times (at least three times if in a hurry!).
Before beginning the sequence for each organ system, rest your open palms on your lap. Think of the special qualities you read above and your intention to transform all polluted energy into positive Chi each time you empty your lungs.
At he end of each sequence, direct your love to these amazing physical instruments that serve you, and thankfully accept the transformation of all negative to positive Chi. Repeat the daily Tao sounds as many times as your time allows.
The Practice
-
Lung/LI: Look up and breathe in as you raise the arms and turn the palms upwards. On SSSSSS. sound let your arms float slowly back to their original position. Breathe normally.
-
Kidney/UB: Breathe in as you bend your back and bring your hands to lock around your knees. Your neck straight to avoid unnecessary tension, push the abdominal muscles against the kidneys with a WOOOOO sound until the air in your lungs is spent. Breathing normally let the arms float back to rest on your lap.
-
Liver/GB: Breathe in as you make a large circle with your arms to lock the thumbs above your head and lean slightly to your left. On SHHHHHHH. sound let the arms float back along the circle back to your lap.
-
Heart/SI: Breathe in as you make a large circle with your arms to lock the thumbs above your head and lean slightly to your right. On HAAAAAA. . sound let the arms float back along the circle back to your lap.
-
Spleen/ST: Breathe in as you make a circle with your arms and bring your fingertips under the left ribcage (stomach area). Breathe out on WHOOOOOO. sound as you press as deep as feels comfortable to you. Breathe normally as you float your arms along the circle back to your lap.
-
PC/TW: Lean back in your chair keeping the neck straight but relaxed. Or lie on your back. Breathe in as you spread the arms and bring your hands above the head. On HEEEEEEE. sound glide your hands just above the body to rest on your lap.(This sound, done with movements at bedtime can help you to have a deep sleep).
Open Your Heart to the Virtues of great Love
Open your heart to the sounds while following the instructions, but do not worry about doing them ‘just right’. Remember that Daily Tao Sounds taught by Chi Kung masters or other Tao of Health practitioners may vary in the sounds’ form and movements, but their ‘Tai Chi Breathing’ is the same.
Emptying the lungs from stale air is always an important aspect of Tao of Health and a sense of balance it brings.
Most people in the world are not breathing right. Please click for Expanded Return to Brilliance Program.

Inner Smile
The following Meditation Guide can help you build Resilience to Stress and gain Success for your Dreams and Aspirations!
You’d be surprised how easy yet effective Inner Smile is – and the more you practice it, the more you realize other meditation benefits.
If you follow our meditation script and make it your own, you’ll smooth the Chi flow and harmonize the organ functions of your body.
You’ll also open up your whole ‘smile bank’ to act as a release valve for the emotional pressure that we all tend to build in our lives. Often we are not even aware of it yet our emotions can limit or block meaningful communication with others.
As for the stress relief in general, the Healing Tao’s secret smile works like a charm to restore inner calm.
Cultivated and used with other Healing Tao practices, this meditation guide can create a foundation for Inner Peace and be an anchor for the expansion of your consciousness.
And outwardly, when you’re happy and smile, your inner light shines through your eyes for everyone to see and smile with you. A positive outlook is a key to meaningful relationships and an ability to know and receive what we truly want in life.
Ready for a Key Transformation?
Remember, when you stay focused Chi follows your Intention!
If you have already practiced our Chi Meditation this meditation guide is even easier to follow.
Before you begin the practice please read through the instructions and familiarize yourself with the location of the organs you see in the picture.
Our Meditation Script is in three Sections
1. Sitting with a straight back, let your shoulders relax and have your chin parallel to the floor. (If unable to sit, find a comfortable position for you).
Close your eyes for a moment and think about something beautiful in nature – you can visualize a pristine summer day in the country where branches of trees sway gently in the wind, the sun is bright while your heart is at rest!
Open your eyes to follow our meditation guide script, but continue to feel settled and receptive.
Take time to focus your mind’s eye on Baihui at the highest point on your head. This connects you to your higher self and the radiance of the universal energy.
Let this powerful light energy flow into your forehead, spreading to every direction while it brings a smile on your face. Spiral this golden light Chi around the mid-eyebrow point Yintang to receive more energy of the cosmos.
Keep the tip of your tongue just behind the front teeth and let this brilliant energy move down to your mouth, vocal cords and throat, to the thymus gland, to the Heart changing all unclarity or fiery hastiness into smiling, golden light.
As you smile with this awareness, let your feelings change. Let your Heart be filled with benevolence, love, compassion and gratitude – radiate these into every part of your being. From now on let this heart Chi be your own meditation guide. Stay at each stopping point as long as you like.
Allow the effulgent light to fill every part of the Lungs and breathe in pure Chi of the universe that brings feelings of strength, courage, nobility.
Focus and smile down to your Liver/Gall-Bladder area and transform all intolerance, anger or jealousy into kindness, generosity and forgiveness with the emerald green, joyous light of the inner smile.
Spleen/Pancreas are connected to over-thinking – let go of thoughts now and bask in the golden light of the eternal smile. Take time to harmonize!
Kidneys/UB/Sexual area. Release all tension and fear while the brilliant all-embracive universal energy penetrates that area including the testis/prostate in men and ovaries/womb in women. Stay with the resulting gentleness, calmness and peacefulness!
2. Bring your concentration back to Baihui with the intention to receive more and more of the pure universal Chi. Using a name aligned with your individual belief system, give thanks for the abundance of your life and all the gifts you receive each day.
The light Chi spreads easily now over your smiling face, your nose, to your mouth. Mixing the smiling energy with saliva swallow it through the esophagus to your stomach. From stomach to duodenum, jejunum and ileum. Then through the ilium-cecal valve to the ascending colon on the right, transferring colon, descending colon and finally the rectum and anus. All areas are filled with clearing light Chi!
3. Bringing your focus back to Baihui, allow the wonderful effulgence spread to all parts of the Brain, to every nerve strand and neural transmitter.
Let it fill ‘the crystal palace’ where Pineal, Pituitary, Thalamus and Hypothalamus work to affect the other glands and the over-all hormonal functioning of the body.
Experience your deep brain, where intuitive impressions are received and sent to the frontal brain, which makes them cognizant to our mind.
Follow the flow of the light Chi down the eight cervical vertebrae, then thirteen thoracics, five lumbar and finally spreading around the sacrum, perineum, then bifurcating into left and right streams flowing along the outside of the thighs and through the feet to Mother Earth.
Here, consciously and with thankfulness for all the abundance the earth offers, mix your radiant sun energy with the cool earth Chi, then direct it along the inside of your legs up to perineum, and along the middle of your body up to Baihui.
As you release it upwards to the cosmos it becomes a fountain of brilliance spreading it all around you as a protective Shield of Light.

The cosmic philosophy of this, possibly the world’s First Energy Healing Therapy is that the entire universe is interconnected through the bonds of Chi or Vital Energy, from the nanosize particles within our bodies to the vast reaches of stars in space.
I learned the Healing Tao Meditation exercises from Master Mantak Chia in the early nineties.

Think about it!
You can master your own and your family’s health!
‘Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food’ was the norm in any Chinese household.
This rule was taught by the ‘food doctors’ as early as sixth century BC and effective herbal remedies were recorded in the annals of medicine.
For flu prevention, the herbs, considered as ‘superfoods’, were boiled as tea or combined in a chicken soup. Ginseng and Astragalus are examples of such herbs.
The most effective recipes of Natural Remedies were passed on from one generation to the next. The fresh or dried herbs were boiled into a bitter tasting tea whenever a flu remedy was needed. Lonicera and Forsythia combination is famous, and here is the recipe.
Yin Chiao San.
Lonicera Japonica (Jin Yin Hua) 15gr Forsythia Suspensa (Lian Qiao) 15gr Arctium Lappa (Niu Bang Zi) 9gr Mentha (Bo He) 9gr Schisonepete (Jing Jia Shui) 6gr Prep.Soybean (Dan Dou Chi) 12gr Platycodon (Jie Geng) 12gr Bamboo leaf Dan Zhu Ye) 6gr Phragmates (Lu Gen) 9gr Isatis Tinctoria (Ban Lang Gan) 9gr Glycyrrhiza (Gan Cao) 6gr
Indications: Clears fever, headache, cough, sore throat in initial stages of a febrile disease. Eliminates interior heat and toxins.
You can purchase Yin Chiao in a tablet format at your nearby Chinese Herbalist.
Or, you can order it online. Several patent variations of it, made in North America, are available. I like the one manufactured by Planetary Herbals available from Herbal Remedies USA. When on their site type Yin Chiao Classic in the search box in order to access this time-honored herbal flu remedy.
Acupuncture in Flu Prevention and Treatment
Chinese ‘Barefoot Doctors’, travelling from village to village, used specific body points for Flu Prevention and Treatment. They also advised that the ‘Window of the Sky’ points around the neck and shoulders had to be protected from cold and draft. If not, the new and already existing nasty invaders we call viruses could multiply in vast numbers and create the first cold and flu symptoms.
Luckily, a new discovery in Chinese Medicine is easy-to-use D.I.Y needle-less Acupuncture.
Treated with Nanotechnology to enhance their potency the Acu Stones come with instructions, last a lifetime and they can be used in most health-related problems. Please click here to learn more.

Intestinal Flu
Intestinal Flu Can Strike like Lightening!
It can happen after attending a gathering where the food was unclean. It might have been prepared by a carrier, who was not washing hands the way he/she should have done – vigorously at least 20 seconds with soap and water.
It is not in the scope of these pages to differentiate between various forms of digestive disorders. We’ll focus here on epidemic gastroenteritis.
It often starts in semi-closed community environments such as families, school cafeterias, ships and vacation spots.
20 to 50 percent of the people of that community can get sick from the food or water-borne pathogens spread from person to person.
Recently a large number of people suffered from acute intestinal flu because of packaged spinach or lettuce bought in a supermarket.
It is a highly contagious disease and causes millions of cases of diarrhea each year in the west. In developing countries, it is a major cause of death, because of the lack of clean drinking water.
Any unclean practice can be a cause of intestinal flu symptoms, which appear within 4 to 48 hour after exposure to the virus and last for 1-2 days, though the symptoms can last as long as 10 days.
They usually begin with nausea and vomiting, followed by cramps and watery diarrhea, possibly headache, fever and chills.
Most people recover without complications, but the flu can be serious when people do not Drink Enough Fluids.
When the first symptoms appear, take the Chinese Medicine’s herbal remedy PO Chai Pills
Available in any Chinese Herbalist store, this amazing patent formula is a standard in every Chinese household. It is used in nausea and headache due to stomach flu, overeating, hangover, unfamiliar diet, motion sickness, indigestion. It is a must for world travellers. And it’s suitable for children
Herb Huang Lian (Rhiz.Coptidis) is an example of holistic medicine for burning diarrhea. It detoxifies, therefore it is also used in cancer treatments.
I use Pau d’Arco (Taheebo) tea also as a cleanser. In the case of intestinal flu, drink it as a tea, but use it also as an enema to cleanse the colon in order to speed the healing process.
-
Allow the gastrointestinal track settle by not eating for a day.
-
Sip clear liquids or suck on an ice cube if still nauseous.
-
Gradually re-introduce foods – dry toast, broth, applesauce, bananas, rice etc.
-
Avoid dairy products, caffeine, alcohol until well.
-
Get plenty of rest.
-
Drink extra liquids to replace what was lost through vomiting and diarrhea.
-
Dehydration can affect especially young children, the elderly with chronic conditions and people with a weak immune system.
Symptoms of dehydration are excessive thirst, dry mouth, no urine or little yellow urine, no tears, severe weakness, dizziness.
If untreated the symptoms can become life-threatening. A professional health care provider should be contacted immediately.
-
For Intestinal Flu Prevention:
-
Strengthen the immune system (please click here)
-
Wash hands thoroughly after bathroom.
-
Wash hands before eating.
-
Disinfect contaminated surfaces.
-
Do not consume foods or drinks which you suspect are contaminated.

Immune System
Boost Your Immune System to avoid Cold and Flu!
The old saying, ‘It’s better to build a well before you’re thirsty’ applies to Flu Prevention along with other wise principles of ancient Chinese Medicine.
You find here two aspects to the advice.
The first one is for the first cold and flu symptoms, which can develop quickly into a full blown influenza if not stopped on time.
The second aspect is to boost your immune system on an ongoing basis with DIY Needle-less Acupuncture Disks and Immune System Supplements.
This approach helps alleviate cold flu symptoms while giving you a renewed sense of strength and vitality. The approaches overlap.
Prevention of Cold and Flu while Boosting Your Immune System
Drink plenty of warm fluids. If possible add Taheebo tea to your habits.
Warm soups in winter – chicken-with-herbs soup.
Enough rest during the flu season.
Wash hands frequently and vigorously for at least twenty seconds each time.
Use DIY Needle-less Acupuncture disks under the ears, below the jaw and the soft hollow on both sides below the occiput (about two inches from the centre at the back). See the guidebook which comes with the kit to add other points. The application of the disks clears out toxins from the glands.
When in cold, rain or snow keep warm – particularly your head, neck and feet.
Be alert to the First Symptoms (tiredness, stuffy feeling, cloudy thinking, shivers, sneezing, runny nose, headache, uneasiness).
Gargle with salt water to prevent sore throat.
And remember, if you don’t drop everything now and rest, you may suffer much later.
Have a bottle of YIN CHIAO handy, follow the instructions and take when the First Symptoms appear and continue up to four days if necessary.
This safe herbal flu remedy has been used in China for hundreds of years in flu prevention – to stop colds, fevers, bodily pains, sore throat, headache, swollen glands, acute bronchitis and other febrile conditions.
Yin Chiao is one of the most effective natural remedies, but it is not an immune system supplement, therefore do not use it for more than four days on each occasion.
To boost your immune system use . . .
Ginseng-Astragalus combination
Take Vitamin C 2000mg a day. the human body does not produce this vitamin although it is necessary for removing toxins we all accumulate.
Multivitamins including A, B, D and E plus flax seed oil.
Click to learn and purchase Our Programs and the DIY Needle-less Acupuncture kit! The Tourmaline Stone Disks last a lifetime and come with instructions for various ailments, including for boosting your Immune System.
And they can help you balance your emotional life and are invaluable in finding inner peace and joy of life.

Cold & Flu
Good Advice
Didn’t your mother or grandmother advice you to wear a hat and a scarf in a cold, rainy and windy weather in order to avoid cold and flu? Well, according to Ancient Chinese Medicine, if your immune system is impaired and you expose your head or neck to rain and cold wind, the muscles tighten preventing the harmonious Chi flow through ‘the wind and window of the sky points’.
The bacteria or viruses can then gain upper hand and cause cold and flu.
Also, keep your feet warm and dry! A research study confirms that exposing feet to a bucket of cold water leads to a runny nose and other common cold symptoms.
Difference between Cold and Flu Symptoms
As cold symptoms you first feel ‘run down – under the weather’ – with some chills. Then come runny nose, sneezing, scratchy throat and cough with chest discomfort, perhaps mild headache, but rarely a fever.
With a cold you might feel a little tired, but not extremely so – as you do when suffering from flu symptoms. And you still have appetite.
The symptoms come when you’re most unaware, often when under some kind of stress or worry. This applies to cold and flu.
One of hundreds of different viruses we carry or are exposed to, is the culprit. If we do not take right measures to stop the most virulent one from multiplying, it can cause a flu.
Here is a list of Flu Symptoms, they are swift and severe:
-
Tiredness(can be extreme)
-
Fever/chills/sweating
-
Headache
-
Dry cough
-
Sore throat
-
Stuffy nose
-
Sneezing
-
Body aches
-
Loss of appetite
-
Usually no stomach symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea (except in very young children).
With flu, you simply want to stay in bed for the first 3 to 5 days. Full recovery usually takes 1 to 2 weeks.
The flu can also be deadly for older and the weak, especially if they are suffering from chronic conditions.
Prevention of Cold and Flu
You do not have to be part of the ‘flu-herd’ of millions of people who fall victim to the contagious influenza bacteria and viruses each year.
The numbers of cold and flu sufferers are mind-boggling. The estimated 500 million cases a year cost US economy $40 billion. It causes more than 36 000 deaths and sends 200 000 people to the hospital each year in the US alone.
And think of the misery cold and flu symptoms bring to those who suffer through them, some of them have to live through agonizing headaches, muscle aches, fever, sweating, sore throat etc.
It’s best to become actively aware that Cold and Flu Prevention is the best method of all!
Check out the following pages of our site which also give advice and solutions such as D.I.Y. Needle-less Acupuncture and Chinese healing herbs on dealing with a cold or flu.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Welcome to our Self-Healing Strategies using Do It Yourself (DIY) Acupressure and Needle-less Acupuncture!
You Can Learn to be Pain-Free and Gain Trust to be In Charge of your Over-all Health.
Our approach to Self-Healing uses Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with Western science. This involves Acupressure and/or placing Nanotechnology enhanced Tourmaline Stones on the body’s chosen acupuncture and trigger points for Pain Relief and alleviating other physical or emotional symptoms.
We all know how happy we feel when annoying, gnawing pain finally leaves! And consistently happy are those who also use our tourmaline Acu-Stones for prevention in order to live Pain-Free Life as well as to Expand their Consciousness and Human PotentialWhat is Self-Healing with non-invasive Acupuncture?
Just in case you are not familiar with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) let me explain a bit about this ancient art/science and why I feel so passionate about applying its basic principles and practices in most health challenges.
There is a lot of mystique associated with acupuncture as a result of its long history. But Western research has shown that acupuncture induces the release of pain-relieving endorphins in the brain. Along with this, it brings over-all harmony and well-being. Isn’t this the goal of any healing practice – to eliminate the painful symptoms in order to feel balanced and through it regain your inherent vibrancy and joy of life? Be better and eventually be the best you can be!
What is Wrist Pain or CTS according to Chinese Medicine?
TCM diagnosis of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is Stagnation of Chi Energy and Blood in the middle of the palm, wrist and arm. The key word here is Stagnation. What is it? We know that when water stands still, for instance in a pond, it becomes murky. Lack of movement invites unwanted organisms to multiply and have their hay day. This is how many water-borne diseases are spread. Stagnation, sluggishness, lack of movement can happen on any level of human life – physical, emotional and spiritual.
Chi Energy is that unseen Life Force which makes everything grow, move, metabolize and function smoothly. This applies to all nature including the human body, where its fundamental substances, including body fluids and blood, can slow down when chi energy, disturbed by stress and other reasons, is not able to move them properly.
The carpal tunnel, running along the two tendons below and above the wrist, is a narrow passageway surrounded by tendons and ligaments. The median nerve, which controls sensation and movement in the thumb and first three fingers, runs through this passageway.
Carpal tunnel nerve can get compressed if there is stress which can lead to a reaction in the tendons and ligaments. When the metabolism has slowed down, then even a tiny amount of debris, which of course can grow over time may block the way. The wrist, hand and arm then feel pain.
How Does the Self-Healing with the Acu-Stones Work?
Using our Self-Healing method you place the non-invasive Acu Stones on top of the skin where they interact with the body’s energy and neural pathways activating Chi and Blood flow. This dissolves the energy and neural blocks, flushes out the debris and eases the pressure, therefore the pain.
The dots you see in the diagram target hand/wrist/forearm pain. The Acu-Stones are placed on the chosen points and left for 20-40 minutes for Effective Pain Relief. As you relax you may experience the buzz and at some points a heat sensation caused by the activation of energy within. The stones keep their coolness.
Applying the 1.3” wide disks on pain points alleviates the pain, but for permanent relief is best to use them according to Your Self-Help Guide included in the attractively packaged kit, where the ten stones nestle in their respective pockets. Activation liquid, along with surgical tape is also included in the kit.
In addition to Pain Relief, the Acu-Stones can be used to improve your immune system, to enhance memory and brain health in general. They are helpful in losing weight and are essential for anti-ageing. Your Guide book as a Self-Help Guide to Pain-Free and Peaceful Living has all the information needed to use the Acu Stones properly so as to get all the benefits they offer. The booklet contains prescriptions for 83 different conditions.
Using the Acu-Stones instead of needles in my practice enabled my patients to permanently recover from pain and disease, often without medication. Continuing the Self-Help applications using their own kit they were able to naturally adjust and balance their physiological, emotional and spiritual lives. This balancing our emotional lives through positive thoughts based on spiritual practices is an important step.
Please click to learn more and order: Your DIY Needle-less Acupuncture Kit. While waiting for your kit to be delivered you will have my free digital report on how to temporarily relieve wrist pain. (You will receive this after completing the order).
